Vision
The Mt. Hope High School Library should be a learning commons where students will demonstrate mastery of academic competencies with the knowledge and skills necessary to be collaborative, complex, critical thinkers. Empowered with voice and choice, students will be provided with challenging and personalized learning opportunities that are inquiry driven and standards aligned. In collaboration, teachers and librarians will leverage technology to enhance and support instruction, delivering content in innovative ways to foster deeper, more authentic learning, while preparing students for success in work and life in the 21st Century.

7:50am-2:40pm (Open to students with passes & entire classes)
2:45pm-5:15pm (Open through Extended Day program)
Inter-Library Loan Policy
The library participates in interlibrary loan through RILINK (Rhode Island Library Information Network for Kids) and LORI (Library of Rhode Island). All circulating materials, except for technology, equipment, and headphones are available for interlibrary loan. The library adheres to the RILINK Interlibrary Loan Policy.
Service Policy
- The Mt. Hope High School library media center is open to all Mt. Hope High School students and staff.
- Mt. Hope High School students, faculty and staff members can check out all items that are part of our regular circulation and access our subscription databases.
- There are no overdue fines.
- Lost or significantly damaged materials must be paid for at the cost of replacement.
- Interlibrary loan requests can be placed by Mt. Hope High School patrons independently when they are logged in to Destiny Discover or through the librarian, Mrs. Cabral
